Zeig, you got a good recommendation on a sub? So far it seems like dayton or monoprice are preferred on the forumn for budget minded people? My 20 year old sub is starting to clink in and out at times. I'm assuming the amp is getting ready to wig out... Its a shame as that ol'
sony has been a good one. Would very much like to stay under 200$

This is my preference from $200 -- it is not a wimp; Emotiva Basx S8 -- It is not all about the size of the woofer, it is about the design as a whole. ... An owner of this sub, even prefers it over his 12" Bic sub.
