This is certainly a good deal. But, I will have to pass on the Red. Hopefully, the 305's in Black will be the same price closer to Xmas. If so, might grab me a set. No real hurry though. Great find!

Cheers,

Phil
Matte red isn't to my taste either.

Don't be so conservative; that red is pretty sexy. Anything is better than another black box.

I kind of like them in white.

Yeah, I like the white too. But, over time that white will go away.....LOL!!! Will be hard to keep clean inmho. The red is just not for me. :):):)

No harder than a white refrigerator!
If it was a sofa, fabric, or carpet, I'd agree with you!

Good point Kurt. But, I am referring to more when running my heat. Doing that seems to fade/change some colors. Especially, anything white. Think that I will just wait until the 305's come in a HOT PINK.......LOL!!!! Just kidding! :p:p:D:p:p

I like em but I’d rather buy beer :D
Okay, but what brand are we talking here? Personally, I have always preferred Miller Lite and/or Michelob. That is, when I used to drink. Had to give it up b/c got myself in a bunch of trouble many years ago. Don't ever want to go through that again. :):):)

I would like to see a pair in wood veneer. I thought about doing this to mine. Veneer I have plenty of. I notice the baffles are slightly oversize too.

Never mind. That small radius on the corners would have to be squared, etc. Black 305's it is.

Back in the Day, I preferred the Miller Lite and /or Michelob brands. In HS, my band nerds really liked the "Little Kings". Have no idea what is the most popular today. Just figured you had a brand or two that you prefer as well. :):):)

I find it too hard to rank/grade beers so I like many equally. I'm also a big fan of stouts so that is most of my list but there are a few exceptions :)

Here are a lot of brands/beers I like. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Most of these I've only had a handful of times because of limited availablility and/or cost:
Alesmith Brewing - Speedway Stout and variants
Avery - Callipygian, Tweak
Ballast Point - Victory at Sea
Brasserie de Rochefort - Trappistes Rochefort 10
Community Beer - Barrel-aged Legion and Legion
Epic - Son of a Baptist, Big Bad Baptist, Big Bad Baptista, and Double Barrel Big Bad Baptist
Firestone Walker - Parabola
Founders - Imperial Stout and Sumatra Mountain Brown
Goose Island - Bourbon County Brand Stout
Karbach - BBH and variants
Left Hand - Hard Wired Nitro and Wake Up Dead Nitro
Martin House - Acheron
New Holland - Dragon's Milk
North Coast - Old Rasputin
Rabbit Hole - Midnight Snark and Rum Barrel Rapture
Prairie Artisan Ales - Bible Belt, Bomb!, Okie, Noir, numerous variants
Sixpoint - 4beans and 5beans
St. Bernadus - Abt 12
The Bruery - So Happens It's Tuesday
Wicked Weed - Dark Age

I like stouts and some of the British Ales. Is what I wash my dinner down with. Usually one, sometimes two in an evening. A tall one after mowing the yard, perhaps. These types are perfect for that, I think. I don't have much time for the effects of too much alcohol though. So some of these in the lower alcohol range of about 4% or so work rather well for just that.

I could always remake the cabinet section and attach the waveguide baffle and perhaps even damp that section since it's rather thin plastic. If I were bored and without projects, I might would do something like that. But then the amps would give out shortly thereafter, or something. :D

Sounds like you have a good plan going on there. Or, perhaps you are still talking yourself into enacting said plan.....LOL!!!! Just be sure to take lots and lots of pics!:):):)

If all else fails you could probably rattle can the top and sides. Whether you go black/red or white/red with some patient masking and a steady hand it would give them an interesting look.

Like I said, I would have to be bored and out of projects. I still have about 5 builds worth of parts on the block.
