My SVS Ultra is down, again.

Lol No Mcintosh amp for the subs. Maybe a Crown Actually been toying with the idea of making it a passive amp and.powering it with a Crown amp. Suggestions??

Sorry you are having problems with that amp. How old is your replacement BASH amp? If you purchased the replacement amp out of warranty, it will carry its own a 3 year warranty. If it was replaced at N/C under the original warranty, then it would be tied to the original warranty period.

I know this is an old thread but I had exactly the same problem as DTS.

Have corresponded with someone from SVS who also suggested the Sledge to replace the Bash.
Contacted "Final Link Audio" dealers (I live in Brisbane, Australia) but so far got nowhere.

I purchased my Bash direct from SVS, is it possible to get the Sledge replacement?

What model of SVS sub are we talking about? If this is a ported sub you can use pretty much any amp you want. If it is sealed then things are much more complicated.

You can purchase the Sledge amp for that Sub from SVS.

It seems that is also you cheapest solution.

I have the same sub SVS PB-13 Ultra and the correct amp is the STA-1000 this 13.5 " driver needs the larger 1000 watt amp and it has ports that can be plugged. My PB 13 Ultra had the the older 750 watt amp that went bad and now I have the newer Digital DSP 1000 with all the adjustments the older amp did not have. PLEASE call SVS before you purchase a amp.
