I would ditch (sell) the desk altogether as well as the filing cabinet. Sell the PC and get a Laptop and work from your kitchen table. Space problem solved. Exactly why do you need an industrial sized filing cabinet anyway? I thought computers were supposed to eliminate the need for paper!!??
Very good points Dan. Have actually given that some thought. However, I am not a laptop type of guy. Never have cared for them. Have always preferred a desktop instead. The filing cabinet is just being merely used as means to give me more room on my desk. Also have some office supplies, and etc. stored in the cabinet. Once I move my desk it will look much better and not so congested. Just have to figure out where exactly to place my kitchen table. Working on that as we speak. Thanks for your suggestions.

Honestly.......I didn't think I was a laptop guy myself but the transition was quite easy for me. If you like using a mouse you can always connect one. Like you, my space is quite limited but my sound system is perfectly set up.

Maybe sooner or later I will too make the transition to a laptop. Just not now.....LOL!!!! Once I get things moved around more it will be better for my entire setup. It is time for my low end to be added as well. So, things are still a bit unsettled. Working on changing that though. Appreciate you posting on my thread.

Cheers,

Phil
