Really Boring Stuff Only III: Resurrection

Vacuuming the lawn. What a strange thing to do. This is not the first time you've said that and I've said this.
Indeed, but this thread thrives on the repetition of boring conversations. I say we pick this up again next weekend.

Roger that. What about bird seed? Is it almost that time of the year yet?

It's always that time of year. :) You remind me that I need to put some more out today. There's still some in the feeder, but I need to put some out on the ground every day because the mourning doves just mow through it.

I also want to put some out because I want to try capturing some video of them with my new Canon XA30 that just got delivered yesterday. The manual is almost 200 pages long, so I've only scratched the surface, but the 20x optical zoom on that bad boy is like magic to me because I've never had a "real" camera before. I've always have point-and-shoot or cellphone cameras.

Why oh why did I sell the 2x4
Because you lost your mind. I thought you were crazy for selling it. I've never found a more useful device in audio. Pretty sure the Minidsp is the duct tape of audio. I have 3 of them and one that got fried from too high a current from a table usb charger. The Minidsp is what needed to be invented for me to complete my current speakers.

I started vestibular therapy and have been dizzy as hell ever since... which they don't tell you, until you get home with a big folder of paper work and read the fine print... you might be useless for the first week or two, if it works at all....

Got a few panels cut for a new sub enclosure, but nowhere near done. Don't even feel safe with a track saw when the world is spinning.

Try again tomorrow!
That's how feet become 10 inches instead of 12 for me.

That definitely looks like a nice one. Amazon vine? Review videos?

Well, the original plan was to unload it and get the 2x4HD, but I figured hey I have a 4x10 sitting around I'll try that. However, I find it woefully inadequate. Even though it says 2V in 2V out, I'm having channel clipping issues that I never had with the 2x4. That's a little bit worrisome.

Yep, Vine. I'm hoping to use it for reviews. I have yet to try it out for that, though. My studio mic is too big for the mic mount, so I'm going to check out how much one will cost that will fit.

Watched a Jimmy Carr netflix special. Never seen him before. Hilarious.

I think that's pretty normal as we age. Testosterone levels drop, wives are less interested, and our vestibules don't get used as much. I use the local massage parlor for my therapy, and it seems to work pretty well. Good luck.

I have not touched anything in my system in over a year. Does that mean I have lost the love or just lazier than all of you?
I was going on a tad over a year up until last week.

After getting my U Verse bill that had the real cost vs all the promotions I have had for several years I decided I would call them again, threaten to cancel my service and get my promotions back. This has worked every year for the past 5 or 6 years. This year they wouldn't budge unless I switched to their Direct TV offer. The switch forced me to pull out the Credenza and change out the set top boxes and I went ahead and cleaned everything up. After a look at the back of my AVR, I wonder if I could ever hook everything back up if I had to.

I would be way happy because of it's value but I don't want to film anything.
Yeah, I wasn't sure how much I'd use it, but I made three video reviews yesterday and am quite happy with it. It's really easy to set up and use (as you'd probably expect).

It's going to cost me about $400 because of taxes, but that is still a huge discount and I do like it. I'm not as jazzed about the mic inputs anymore because my mics don't fit in the holder, but the built-in mics are pretty decent and the optics seem real nice - and I haven't really even messed around with any of the settings, yet.

I loved that movie growing up! I just checked it out on Amazon, and now I'm curious what the difference is between the 25th Anniversary edition that came out in 2009 and the version that is going to be released in May.

Well this is the 25th anniversary edition. I don't know if you have it or not, but the 25th looks pretty darn good. I find it hard to image that they've improved the quality much, although maybe they're adding special features. Although if it's like any of the other recent re-releases they're probably only going to add a couple small features. Hopefully not.

If I can get the Peavy sold, thinking of replacing with a Sanway instead of a Crest Pro Lite.

After making some videos with that new camera showing off products that I'm holding, I was reminded that I have the arm hair of a Wookiee. I should manscape those bad boys. I have enough clippers to do it, that's for sure...

There is a masseuse near by that I have seen an OPEN sign on, at like midnight. It was a while ago, but amusing nonetheless!

Thanks for letting me vent my bs here. Believe me, I've been bored as hell since last week. I try to sleep as much as I can, but its difficult to focus on anything, even movies.

Moral of the story, don't land on your head!
