I'm only using 15 of them though. Life is about balance.

Wait are we counting receivers too? Then I'm up to 30 amp channels. Using, 20 of them. 32 if we count the little SMSL amp. Actually lemme look in the closet....:p

Why not just dump the LMS's and UXL's, and get another pair of FTW's? Ohh, and don't forget the HPF at 30Hz to protect your hearing :D

The cab requirements on the FTW's are too much to fit 4 in the basement. Plus if I dumped the UXL's and LMS's I could probably afford 4 more FTW's for a total of 6. It's intriguing, but that's a bit more building than I care to do ATM. Maybe next summer. Unless I build the Maximus 12's to replace the Triline's.

I can send him an address for proper disposal of those drivers.

Well depending on how the GF reacts to the FTW's showing up unannounced. I may be able to send everything your way :D

That just means you build up. A vertically oriented DO box is probably more than even you would want to deal with, but you could take a modular approach and build the boxes to be stacked.

I've already got the LMS stacked and I'm gonna have to build the FTWs dual opposed and stack the UXLs on top. How much higher you want me to go

0 Higher :D If you get rid of those puny 18s, and build two vertically oriented DO cabs for the FTWs, you'd take up maybe 28x28" worth of floor space times two, maybe 4 feet tall.

My family and friends accuse me of being obsessed with audio, I should show them the last doze or so posts in this thread to show them what real obsession looks like.:D

On a different note, my Panny PJ is telling me to replace the bulb - again. I've already reset the timer once. I imagine if I changed the bulb, I might see a difference in brightness, since the bulb has 5000+ hours on it. The picture still looks fine to me though, so I think I'll reset the timer again. The PJ came with a spare bulb, so if it dies, I'm prepared.

The only thing you have to be careful of is the bulb shorting or bursting when it reaches "the end". It's fairly rare as far as I can tell, but I had something in the original Epson bulb when I had the Epson PJ do something not great that left the interior of the glass singed and black when it finally died.

Hey, Fuzz. He hasn't, yet, but he said that the DACs just came in - and he ordered one of those, too.

I ordered the DAC version as well. I know Martin had said he would post an update this weekend on the DAC models, but hadn't seen one yet. Technically he's already into Monday I think so he missed his weekend update AFAIK.

Just curious cuz I've sent the Martin (the guy who started this) a couple messages, but never got a response.

Thanks.
