Wow, you gave up quick. We just got done watching Nurse Jackie. Only downside is the 30 minute episodes. All 7 seasons in 2-1/2 days. Lots of popcorn.

Looks like the Fluance Signature Series thread has gotten interesting. One 20 post wonder has declared "THE. SAVIOR. IS. HERE."; another newb is apparently pushing crossover upgrades without having a clue of what a crossover is meant to accomplish. And so the world turns....

Yeah, it has been one of the more interesting threads of late! Interestingly, one of the guys currently owns RBH R55ti's and declares the Fluance to be better in almost every way.
That is exciting prospect, but it is never a good idea to put faith in one opinion of someone who's history is not known.
Happily we should get a couple more opinions in the near future! We have another guy who has ordered ELAC F5, RBH R55ti, and the new Fluance Signature Series Floorstanders to do a "show down" and Gene has a pair in for review. Accordingly we should get a legit idea of how good or poor they really are in the near future!

That open back does allow for variable stuffing depending on what you need as is determined by boundary proximity. How does that work? The closer the wall, the less stuffing? I was never clear on that.

I survived another year without having to get a dog. It's all good. We have the Guinea Pigs, who my daughter loves. Damn things are dumb as dirt though - $hittin' in their house and sleeping in their litterbox.

I've been itching to do something with my 2-channel and / or my HT system. Can't think of what though. Maybe now that I have Sonos, I should consider getting rid of the CD changers. Then I could modify the cabinet to take up less floor space.

Man, I got this cable card and I bought a TV tuner (which hasn't arrived yet), but so far I've been able to stream just about all the NFL playoff games. My internet is pretty fast so the quality is good, but hopefully the quality through the tuner is better otherwise it's going back because this is pretty darn good as is.

Cheryl asked if I wanted to hear a country dude sing on SNL. I said no. Turns out to be the best thing I've heard ever. I spend the next 30 minutes removing the DRC on the STB and rec'r and setting the mains to Large AND fixing my left sub ... again. I think it's the jack at the EQ. ... but not until AFTER she makes me crank the living piss out of it with completely sub par low end reproduction and compressed from two separate devices. How come she can't tell the sound sucks? I'm the one with the tinnitus!
