Since you two were last here. I totaled my car in a freak snow storm, drank a lot of beer, bought a used Lexus ES 300, paid taxes gotten laid more times than I can count probably because of the beer. I've lost 10 lbs and gone down a couple inches in my waist, been through numerous nasty thunderstorms.

Too bad. Did Jeff do his usual write-up about the TM, MTM, or the Testarossa?

I'm sure he did, but Meniscus probably has it and isn't releasing it until they post the kits on their website if/when that ever is. The information is pretty sparse on the kits, but Jeff can answer any questions if you PM directly, which is what I ended up doing. I didn't ask for measurements, but just had some general information about the the performance, size, and the differences between the alignments. Now I'm just waiting on my flatpack so I can begin to plan on putting it all together.

The project was the WMTMW I posed on my facebook wall with the poll attached asking if people liked the KEF Blade-like oval felt or the felt shape that outlined the drivers. It was called the Imparo.

The something better is classified for now.

Paul K, MJK, Jeff B, and many others have been a tremendous asset to the DIY community. I'm sad that Zaph stopped posting on his website. His driver is killer, and I'm glad it exists, but i'm not sure it was worth trading his potential future measurements. That sweet Klippel over at DIYMobileAudio.com and medleysmusings.com has helped fill the gap, as has www.audioheuristics.org.

I thought Erin had to send back his klippel? Yea, those guys are absolutely invaluable. Between the help they provide guys with their own projects, plus they stuff they design for purchase through meniscus, they make DIY a whole lot more accessible.

Not that I know of. He posted new measurements on his site not long ago. I haven't been keeping up with my gossip, so you could be right.

Unless I'm mistaken his latest driver measurements are DATS and Omnimic only no klippel. I don't think he's posted any klippel data since January and no longer has it IIRC.

I already told my g/f that RI is too small to get HBO. All those freebies just get you hooked on a show and then you end up paying. No, no ... there is no such thing as a free puppy.

When did you start working for HBO? You're right about the addictive personality though. I hate calling those pukes for anything: activation or cancellation.

I think all of the "This Week Tonight" episodes are on YouTube. I enjoy it when I watch it, but have to admit YouTube is not as conducive to me watching it.

I really liked the one on "Sugar" because it showed how full of $h!t money can buy people to be without being a political hot topic.
