Pd, let me officially welcome you on the journey for good coffee cup. Everyone's journey is different, but just like audio it's never really complete.
Add some water or froth milk for more volume. And yeah, disposable cups cost around $0.7 each or $7 for a ten pack.
Try columbiana flavor. Nice mild and easy to like

I have been good about keeping it in my pants for the most part...lol...

I still haven't told my wife about the car, she will kill me this time.

I think it arrives at the Gulf Port from Germany today or tomorrow so I may have it by early next week. I am planning on just pulling it in the garage and seeing what happens when she goes out to the garage...
Alex might be able to give you a few pointers on what to say. He's an expert at this level of BS.

See, I am just not at that level of coffee drinking. I truly love smelling and tasting high end scotch, tequila and even whiskeys. I can usually pick out all the flavors and smells.
If you do this like I do coffee, you should DIY, distill it yourself.
Coffee smells like coffee to me. I made an Expresso last night and my only thought was "Where the F is the rest of my coffee"...
That's because all you know is that pod swill.
I am thinking about getting a press or trying one of the drip funnel looking things just as a money saver and something to jack around with on the weekends. During the week, I will stick with the Nespresso. So far I am way more impressed with it than I ever was with the Kuerig. It makes a nice cup of coffee, looks good on the counter and feels way more solid.
French press coffee pots introduce a new problem. You need a coarse grinder if you don't like a lot of sediment in your cup. You usually need an adjustable burr grinder for that, and they cost more money.

Any simple drip cone and a paper filter can make good coffee, and will work with fine ground coffee. The cheap twirly blade grinders work well for that. Boil water in a kettle or microwave, put ground coffee in one of these, pour in hot water, stir and wait ~3-4 minutes, put it on top of a mug, and you're a barista.
When I ordered the coffee online I opened my basket, saw it was $160 and almost threw-up.
It's already beginning.

I will try a drip cone and a paper filter . For 22 bucks, what could go wrong?

That's assuming my wife doesn't really kill me.

Tell her you felt uncomfortable about getting a new car. So you very graciously got her a beautiful $22 coffee maker.

I just bit the bullet and had the conversation about the car with her.

Me: Don't freak out but I purchased a new Audi this week

Her: Why? You have one and it's new

Me: I had to pee

Her: what is wrong with you

Me: I am a product of my environment plus I am sure I was raised wrong

Her: It's not funny

Me: I seriously think it's my mid-life crisis Corvette but I wanted a new Audi instead

Her: I was afraid of that, you have been buying a lot of stuff like the fancy Espresso maker and fancy coffee glasses and going to stores that you would never go to. You even went to World Market and got tiny little Espresso cups. I have a fear that you will find a younger women, as you are going through this stage of life, like your Dad did

Me: Yeah, I didn't think how that would make you feel but the last thing I would want is a different woman.

I seriously wanted more horsepower in the same exact SUV that I have now and I worked out a good deal and ordered one.

I got the Coffee Maker because the other one sucked and I needed new cups as all of ours are of huge volume and I don't think coffee is about volume.

Her: What color

Me: Daytona Grey

Her: I like your white one better, can I have it?

Me: No

Her: OK, I just thought I would ask. I am sure your new Audi will be nice

Your BS-kung fu is better than Black Belt. If you bottle that, I'd buy 10 cases :D.

Unexpected but I got the car today. It arrived this morning at the dealer.

He called me and said he would get on it first and have it ready before they closed. He texted me at 4:00 pm and said come and get it. The picture doesn't do it justice but it is a beautiful color. Much darker than I thought it would be but I love how it looks. The 440 ft-lbs of torque is nice too.

It's probably time for some new speakers since you opted out of having different women. :)

Nice car.

Good think you bought an Audi, older folks look silly in a Corvette, I had my Corvette when I was 18. Nice car BTW.

A car can't properly compensate for "mid-life crisis" unless its red. The same goes for speakers. These SongTowers are in Ferrari Roso Corsa Red with Black Accents. Get this finish on a pair of Salk Veracity STs or HT2-TLs, and that new car will depreciate rapidly :D.

He doesn't have the stones to put those in his living room. His wife, Carolyn (?), would kill him.

I'd make a vette look good at any age. ;)

Only people that buy Corvettes are in their 60's, that was there dream car in the 70's which they couldn't afford when they where young. Now they have the money to buy them. You never see a young kid drive one.

Then I'm not old enough to drive one yet but when I am old enough, look out. I heard that when you take a girl out in a vette, you get action twice. Once on the way there and once on the way back. :D
