Just contacted Amazon and asked if they have any available for an exchange and they do not.

I was going to lower my house about 4000 feet and then realized that I didn't have to. Phew. :D

I still need to put something between it and the back wall - not too difficult, but the thing that I have in mind is covered in Niki's hair...so it'll take time to clean it off. Well, them off...I plan to use two identical foam dog beds that should help absorb some sound. Just a test because Niki uses them. :)

Mine is about 1ft away from the rear wall. I doubt damping the rear wall would help in my situation.

Fuzz, is yours a lot louder if you are perpendicular to the screen? Mine has a pretty significant increase in buzz loudness when I move my head in front of the panel, versus being even slightly off to the side. I'm not talking at an inch away, either, guys. :D At a few feet away, it goes from "a little annoying, but I can live with it" to "this really sucks" as soon as I enter the volume directly in front of the screen.

It's about the same from any angle. Right now I have the TV on, the fans attached to the entertainment center, and Netflix so it's hard to tell. As best I can remember what I said is true.

I have zero proof of this, but I think the buzzing is slightly less loud than when it first arrived. Then again I could just be getting used to it.

So, yours is different from mine. Interesting.

I have one half of the TV's back blocked from the wall with absorbing foam...no noticeable difference. I turned the cell light, contrast, and brightness all down to 0...no noticeable difference. Hmmm. Time to block the other half.

Hmm I forgot to check that. I'll have to give turning down those two settings a try.

On a side note Netflix notified me that the entire series of Friends is now available and so is season 5 of White Collar. There goes my Sunday.

Made some pizza tonight, 7 of them, lol... My youngest is having a "sleepover" so my second floor is littered with overnight packs and sleeping bags, I said 3 {"a few" was my exact words} friends and he invited god knows how many, but there are 9 here not counting my 2.... I did get to put the new commercial food processor and mixer through their paces though, and the kitchen is now 100 degrees from running all 3 ovens, not to mention all the little indians running around...

Heres one of them pre oven and toppings, the kids ruined them with toppings, lol, I let them cut the pepperoni off the sticks, and they went a little crazy, sorry didn't take pics, oh and they thought my last sick of Calabria {new yorkers will know what that is} soppressata was pepperoni so that got sliced up and thrown on a pizza too {well almost half of it before my wife laughed and said "your super soda is going to be super pizza soon" I just shook my head and cried for a few minutes, lol, it actually was good on pizza... I also did 2 loaves of italian bread, again didn't take pics tonight but I have a few from the other day...
We make most of our own stuff to eat, our own pasta, bread, ice cream {i have plenty of posts about that lol}, peanut butter, honey {well the bees do most of the work there}, mostly because the stuff sold in stores is full of stuff we cant pronounce, but also its in most cases better, like the hot bread... The cost is less too of course, like tonight over a half dozen pizzas, 2 batches of ice cream, and a couple gallons of flavored seltzer water {we make that too}, would have cost me over $150, instead it was like $145 :D

Tuscon is at 2389 ft elevation. That is well below 6500 feet. I assume you have ruled out the other things they listed.

My wife and I quit drinking. Well, she said we did and the bottle of Templeton Rye, that I got for New Years has 4 oz missing from NYE.

I am seriously just answering a question I have to myself and I am pretty sure I know the answer....
