iPhone 6 adding the features most other companies have had for years.
They've been behind since when the 4 came out. I'm a definite Android/PC person and will voice my opinion that way no matter what. But when you look at the numbers, it's not a fanboy based opinion, but more logic based.

If you look at any iPad vs the equivalent Nexus... The Nexus beats it in every aspect, including price.

If you look at Apple phone cases, the logo is always left exposed for a very blatant reason. You are not buying a functionally better, and barely even competitive, product. You are buying an Apple logo with a mid-grade electronic device on the other side. There's a reason Apple products (Macs) have far less risk of viruses than a Windows based computer, nobody with anything important to hide uses a Mac. By important, I mean companies with legitimately important information that needs to be withheld from the public, not nude pictures of celebrities.

I still think, for how many people on here will go and bash companies such as Bose or Monster or Audioquest for selling lesser tier products at equal/higher prices than far superior performing products, there should essentially be nobody that would even think twice about buying an Apple product. Bose/Monster/Audioquest/Apple type companies survive on marketing.

Some people don't care and will spend money without researching and be perfectly happy. This goes for Apple and the previously mentioned home theater equipment manufacturers. Others who take the time to do some research and make logical, science based, decisions would turn their backs and run at the sight of Bose or Apple products equally.

Sorry for the rant :).

Apple for sure became a follower, not an innovator....

I considered Sailfish and Jolla for my latest phone but found screen to be suboptimal, so rather ended up with Sony Xperia Z1 compact, half price of iPhone 5S and i don't see iPhone being superior

I may not agree with you, but I think it's good with a strong opinion :)

I have always owned Android phones and I love my Moto X but I am going to buy an iPhone 6 Plus. Why? I use OSX on my desktop. I have a MacBook Pro. I have an iPad. I love all of them. They JUST WORK. I used to be a tweaker that loved to tinker with stuff and customize it. Now I just want something that works with no fuss. The Moto X has been the best Android phone I've owned but there are still all sorts of little quirks and things that really start to become annoying after a while. I have NEVER had to reboot my iPad or do anything other that pick it up and use it and put it down when I'm done. The experience has been the same on my desktop where I converted my custom built PC into a Hackintosh by installing OSX. Ever since I've done that it JUST WORKS. No more tinkering with Windows settings, defragging, and just messing with stuff to keep performance in check. It simply runs 24/7 and ALWAYS works when I sit down to use it. I never had that experience running Windows. OSX is an excellent OS and pairing that with the Magic Trackpad is an unbeatable user experience IMO. The MacBook Pro is the ONLY laptop I will ever buy. From overall design and build quality to the perfect user experience there is absolutely no better laptop on the market period. The absolutely awesome trackpad alone is worth the price.

I used to be an Apple hater. I always had a reason not to buy Apple products and I always had an excuse as to why other products were better. I have completely changed my tune. There is a premium price attached to Apple products but in my experience they are well worth it. IOS 8 and the iPhone 6 address virtually all of the reasons I was sticking with Android from 3rd party keyboard support to screen size and the notion that I can answer the phone and send/receiver texts from virtually any device I'm using at the time is very appealing.

I pre-ordered a 6 plus. The best Android phones my carrier has are from Samsung and I hate the way they ruined Android. I can't get my phone to interact with my Macs or Linux box. When I want to move files to/from it, I have to use Dropbox or SFTP.
