The price was real good - and I wanted a new/different AVR -
New from Ebay for $188.00

This receiver is nice - brand new in the box for $188, plus $20 shipping

The seller even double boxed it with padding stuffed inside

It is better looking in person - all the RCA inputs are gold and has 2 HDMI monitor
out-puts (only 1 will do the on-screen menu and audio ARC).

It was made for the pro-side like schools, Churches, mall stores, restaurants, sports-
bars and the likes. However, just as good for us on the consumer side.:)

Everything sounds clean so far, and the video picture is nice/good.

Nice on screen operations - and what I like, is the on screen volume level display

I am a fan of the receiver orange window alpha/numeric display

The remote is not first rate - however it is easy to read, and handle

Yes it is an Integra (Onkyo) receiver - however for the price a solid deal.

If someone is on a tight budget, or needs a second receiver - this is hard to over
look for the price.

I never knew Tascam made receivers. I knew them from their cassette decks way back when.

I modded some old BTech speaker stands (platform wasn't sturdy enough to hold the Alphas) using Simpson Ties from Home Depot and I got the Alphas out of the cabinet.. sounds much better now.
Good job - yes, they should sound more life-like now.

that Tascam avr looks very much like uncover brother of Yamaha...

Speaking of new purchases - I got this on amazon for $50 after long price alert watch. As for knife itself - it cuts like lightsaber

Still sitting in the box, was heavily debating this vs The MacBook Pro Retina 2.4 8GB Ram 256G SSD. I like the 2 in one, the display is awesome w/ touch

- Have read there are problems with WiFi which is a deal breaker (can do the upgrade myself to better internal card for $30 bucks)
- Battery life is just 6 hours

Will decide in the next day or so.

It might not be the latest, but to me it sounds the greatest. Processor was for free in mint condition with out any marks at all. Cost to me was the remote ($85.00) Needs a little cleaning, that's about it.

:eek:What a great deal Wal can we see the back? How many watts? Congrats.
Sorry no watts, it's a processor. It's pushing 3800 watts into 8 ohms and 5600 watts into 4 ohms. Amps are Cinepro 3k6-Cinepro 1k2 and AB International 800.2
