I can not say much for the system but in my experience Onkyo receivers are terrible. I would advise you gravitate toward a different brand. I have not heard a single bad thing about Yamaha receivers.

Awesome TV, I really want it, sure Sharp is bigger but Samsung is better in every other possible way. However I don't agree with where they are pricing it at. 5-6k would be a more realistic number but 9k that is absurd. Ill wait for it to go into the low three range before I pull the trigger.

out of curiosity why on earth does everyone think plasma is the best? LED is the best there is when it comes to tv's

just food for thought, though i am no expert, i just bought the onkyo ht s5500 and i absolutly love it. im sure there are better setups but for $480 on amazon, plus another 100 for speaker mounts, wires and plugs, it is a great deal. I did an entire 7.1 system fully mounted and sounding great...

the pics are bad quality because all i have is a cell phone to use. if you notice in the last pic i started to tape the wire, after i tape the rest i will paint and in theory no one will notice the hideous wires running up the walls.

thank you for letting me know that, i will keep that in mind in the future. the setup is all done and after i finally got around to setting it up with the auddessy mic thing, the sound is amazing. made a huge difference. I love the new setup. my next step is to hide the wires with masking tape...

thanks man actually i got the wire at a great price so im gonna hold on to it, so far ive only had time to run it to one speaker but it made a great deal of difference in quality. im gonna try to run it to the rest of them by the end of the weekend.
