Enter to Win an Outlaw LFM-1EX Subwoofer!

Responses above. Sony PS3. It does everything fairly quickly. I like the simplicity of having everything I need contained in one device. Class D amps for desktop usage. WAF factors prevent getting huge amps. :D

tekton - the next big thing?

I don't even know where to start here. I'm not aware of any music that has a "flat frequency curve." I'm fairly certain music that has a "flat frequency curve" would not be music at all. I think the point behind designing a speaker with a "flat frequency curve" is to honesty reproduce the...

tekton - the next big thing?

To me, this is the rational response. (Surprisingly, not the one posted by the local Wharfedale sales rep telling "jerk offs" to "get a life.") Also, IMHO, the Zu Omen Def sounds terrible. Measurements or not, they sounded honky and obnoxious. Of course, YMMV. :D Happy Thanksgiving!

    JBL LSR2325P Help

I have a similar setup and use a Nuforce µDac2. It is limited to 24/96, but about 5% (if that) of my FLAC collection is recorded at higher resolution than that. You can usually find a refurbed or used µDac2 for less than $100.

    TAD 2201 Speakers

Just to bring this thread back on topic a little bit... ADTG, did you get the TADs from Music Direct?

    TAD 2201 Speakers

The LS50s don't have grills. I asked one of the KEF guys at RMAF. I read the KEF thread at AVS. Lots of good things to say about the LS50s.

    TAD 2201 Speakers

Thanks for the comparison. The KEF does look nicer, but the TAD has grills that would keep curious little hands and paws out. Usually now I would employ really nitpicky things to decide, like which one is not made in China, but I think both are. Oh well.

    TAD 2201 Speakers

Trying to decide between these and the Kef LS50s for a nearfield setup. I've heard (and enjoy) the LS50s but haven't heard the TADs. Any comment on a comparison with your 201/2s?

    Scam website alert - topchooseus.com

Read the thread here and on AVS forum. Thanks, Jim. Did you try ic3.gov? You might be easy to ignore, but a message from the feds to any of these places might be treated a little differently. ;)

Enter to Win: SVS PB12-NSD or a SB12-NSD!!!

Question 1: What are the SVS Bill of Rights and which is your favorite? An outline of promises SVS makes to their customers. I like the five-year unconditional warranty - it's very rare to see that on powered subs. Question 2: What is the next product you would like to see from SVS...
