So anyway after I just took off the diamond shield-no more rattlin problems! Wasn't half as hard as I thought it would be. It looks like the diamond shield was bowing out (this was a display model), and hence that was probably the cause of the rattling. Frankly the tv looks fine without it...

Anyone else own a Mitsubishi ws-55813? Mine is rattling like all hell the moment I turn the audio up. It appears the problem is with the "Diamond Shield". Whats interesting is that the manual lists steps one can take to remove it. Anyone done it?
