Initially when i first bought my AVR-3805, all I had was a SACD player, the DVD-2200. This would connect to the "ext in" ports on the amp and they'd be used during the play back of DVD-Audio and SACD discs.

A little while later I setup a home theater PC, from which I wanted to use the surroung analog ports from the SB Audigy card through the receiver. EAX games and things use the surround outputs, so I can't juse use the digital out on the sound card (i.e. I'd be missing out on a lot!). Thats now taken the "ext in" ports on the amp, leaving my DVD-2200 with no way to play its SACD music (The PC does play DVD-Audio discs, however it doesn't play SACD discs) :(.

Anyone have any suggestions on ways of using both surround analog sources with one analog destination?

P.S. Yes I am already considering forking over ~1k for a 5900 ;P

Rat Shack has a three input one output switch. Connect both sources to an input and connect the amp to the output.
