No buddy it wasn't anything other than this is going nowhere......you can't argue with people who close their eyes to the obvious...
If it were so obvious, you wouldn't have needed a propaganda film to blow your mind ;)

Seriously, the film is intended to make you think this stuff is obvious. It presents one-sided arguments and laces them lies and misinformation. It does so in a way that "just makes sense." It's like Michael Moore's early films. It's explicitly designed from the ground up to garner this reaction from you.

I find it extremely odd that this story never broke in the US as it dropped just before the inauguration (1.19.09). No one in the US has reported it other than one radio program I was listening to on the 19th. Since then, nothing, not a single word here. News sources in the UK offered the story but that is all I have seen.

The story means one of two things, Al-Qaeda soldiers, due to poor living conditions, contracted it naturally, or they lost containment on a bio-weapon and the US is keeping it quiet. The latter seems a bit scary, especially when the story has not been reported here by nearly any of the media.

If anyone feels the government does not have it's fingers in the media, pulling strings, they are looking through some very rosy glasses. Party in the White House matters not here.

Very good find, I hadnt heard of that yet. And it is very scary to think about the latter you mentioned.
i find it sad that media has so much influence on people. I wish we could just get "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" from the media. Not someones view on what it should be.

It's not about who "believes" what. It's about accepting some stupid unsupported "facts" fed to you by someone specifically trying to shock and amaze you without question and without evidence, and having your mind "blown" by it.
Isn't that exactly what belief is? Religion operates on the same basis.

Jaime, I did open my eyes to the obvious. It was obvious that two planes hit the WTC, one hit the Pentagon and one hit the ground. Thousands of good hard working people died on live world wide TV (witnessed by millions of people in person and on TV) yet some nutjobs come on and think our government is out to kill tens of thousands of our own citizens. Why? The government needs all those peoples tax money, generated incomes and why would the government hit a building that is one of the infrastructures of the US economy. Oh wait cause some nutjobs can blame the government on everything with edited video, half truths, misinformation and straight out lies. These conspiracy theorists need to pull their heads out of their asses and learn to finally think and use some common sense. I've had to hear these crackpots for years and I really think it sullies the heroes, the victims and the loved ones of those who died. My eyes have been open for years and this kind of shyt sickens me.

No matter what you think of the movie, its at least interesting, maybe entertaining if you take it with a grain of salt and for what it really is.. fiction. As a part time writer/publisher, one thing I understand... You write, print, edit, film, produce whatever sells. Michael Moore epitomizes this notion. Unfortunately, the absolute truth might find itself right after a late night infomercial on the zoology channel. In a society desensitized to gratuitous nudity and the obnoxiously profane, sometimes the farthest reaches of free speech exposure are the only sources to leave the audience thinking. The film, although, highly inaccurate served its purpose... Nobody tells you in the beginning of Transformers that its fiction, its just understood and for a brief moment we all want to believe that it could happen. Some films just tug at those strings a little harder and hit a little closer to home. Very few box office projects should be used to extrapolate opinions on virtually any topic. At this time, I'm quite unsure of what to think of the media and its influences.. I certainly have opinions... but its only speculation..

This should get ugly quick. ;) Sarcastic smilies, politics, religion and name calling all in the first page. I'm gonna pass out some red chicklets with Jamie's name signed to them to get the ball rolling real good for pg. 2.:p:D
And so the chicklet meltdown begins. I will sit back and watch the apocalypse from my arm chair - until the AH version of Pearl Harbor that forces me to enter the war. :D

BTW, Alex - freaking brilliant. A red chicklet conspiracy started inside of a thread about cover ups. :)

Hope that you don't mind...I'll just embed it for everyone. An oldie but a goodie.

EDIT: Shock, I see that you're looking at the code section, so you might be wondering how to embed the video. On YouTube, there is a text box off to the right of the video with the title "Embed". You copy that text straight into a post (no other HTML code necessary).
