I can't believe I'm the first person to suggest this.

The perfect music for what you described is Sigur Ros.

I am shocked I'm the first one to point it out.

Either of their albums, "( )" or "Agaetis Byrjun." There are "vocals" but unless you understand Icelandic (the latter) or "Hopelandic" (the former), the vocals are merely another instrument.

Without a doubt, Sigur Ros is my favorite band to listen to while studying. I have their entire catalogue, and one of their albums is always in my immediate playlist.

In fact, my favorite album is one you didn't list, "Angels of the Universe," an album featuring both Sigur Ros and Hilmar Orn Hilmarsson. You should check it out if you haven't yet, it is unspeakably beautiful.
