Hi everyone, hoping I can get some help. My subwoofer just died (FML) so I went in and set subwoofer to "None". When I did that, the receiver automatically switched my front NHT Classic 3 bookshelf's to " Large" and the option to change them back to small is grayed out. I am concerned about them getting full range and overworking them. They like a lot of power, but is there a way to override the receiver or am I OK for now to let the speaker's crossovers do their job. I wont have the budget to replace the subwoofer anytime soon since I just purchased the AVR. Thanks for any input.

If you don't have a sub then large is the correct setting.

Thanks, should I also then go ahead and set the center to large as well?

You don't need to set the center to large. With no sub, the receiver knows to channel the bass to the front left and right speakers. the center is unaffected.
