Yamaha MCR ES810SL Shelf System

Does anyone have any experience with this system? I am looking at shelf stereo systems for my 10 x 15 foot bedroom. I especially like this system plays DVD's. I would appreciate any input.

Does the lack of reponses indicate I should devise a strategy to "belly up" and buy an A/V Reciever, CD/DVD player and seperate speakers?
