I'm selling this 5.1 Yamaha HTR-6130 receiver. It's in very good condition with only minor blemishes only noticeable on close inspection.

Yamaha HTR-6130 Specifications

Included in this sale: remote control, user manual, FM antenna, and the receiver

Asking for $130 + shipping and handling. Paypal is prefered.

I little more than I wanted to spend...but I might be interested. How much is shipping to 23693?

Thanks.

Dude, where were you when I posted a thread that said I needed a HDMI AVR for 130 bucks?

Is the receiver still avail?

If so, this could be the perfect receiver for my father in law. What would shipping be to 84041?

Also, it looks like from the back that it has a b speaker that might be able to be hooked up to a zone 2 perhaps?

It has A and B speaker sections, which is a little different from Zone 2 operation. Zone 2 operates completely independent from the main receiver functions, meaning it has it's own volume control and input selection. This allows users to watch a movie in one room while listening to music in another room using the same receiver. A & B speaker sections are just two different sets of terminals one can use to connect two pair of speakers that you can switch between or run both sets in stereo mode.

Shipping is 26.64 + handling (packaging and materials) I pack items myself and they are sure to arrive undamaged. I think a flat $30 for S&H is a fair price.

Let me check with in law and then it could be shipped. I think this setup would work well for what he has, it should be an upgrade. Right now he has all his surrounds, L & R and the other 3 speakers that go to the rest of the house all hooked up to the Fron L & R channel. So, it is hooked up bad, So, I think this will seperate out the things that shouldn't be hooked up and give more power.

Yeah, it's never a good idea to connect multiple speakers to one terminal.

PM me with details as soon as you know them.

$30 is incredibly fair, given the cost of materials and the time is takes to pack things carefully.

Just talked to him. They are planning a trip to NZ in May. So, he is saving everything he can for the trip. Sorry to waste your time asking about it. Fabulous deal though. My brother may be interested in it. I'll ask him as well.

Seth is a great seller! I've bought from him in the past. Anybody interested can rest assured that they will get a great product and he will pack it right for shipping. I couldn't capatilize on the deal but this is a great find for anybody who may have been considering a great addition or introduction to their AV addiction.

Off just my receiver? He'd have to be selling it to a complete nincompoop! I'm assuming he's assembling a surround sound for someone and he's getting paid to do it. In any case, I make a profit he makes a profit. Everyone get's a nice pat on the back.
