Denon AVR-5308CI software update package, please does anyone have it?

Hello all,

I just acquired a Denon AVR-5308ci and I like it quite a bit. I have read that there is a software and hardware update that came out in 2010/2011. of course Denon does not keep the updates on line any more and I have searched a good bit and cannot find any version that I can download.

I was hoping that someone here might have an original software disc or downloaded the software and might still have it.

If anyone does please email me or answer here to get the ball rolling.

It's doubtful that anyone will have an update for a 14-15 year old AVR, but if it works well, I wouldn't worry about it- it may have been set up to auto update when it was new.

One thing you might be interested in- find its IP address and log in using any computer on the network. You may be able to control it from the computer, rather than be in front of it and when I had Denon AVRs, I used that a lot.

If you're looking for the 2010/2011 software update for your Denon AVR-5308ci, but unfortunately, since Denon no longer hosts the update files online, finding it can be tricky. If anyone has the original disc or a downloaded version of the update, they may be able to help.
