Lovinthehd I don’t use audio from the TV. I just thought I was supposed to plug in the Xbox via hdmi to the avr and then have the receiver connected to the tv via hdmi arc to support sound and picture. I apologize for the confusion.
The ARC label on a HDMI port only means its ARC capable, not that the ARC functionality is used/activated or needs to be. Many are confused by this, ARC is just one part of HDMI and to simplify and save costs not all ports on the tv (or receiver) is ARC capable.
