I bought myself a pair of M-Audio AV30 speakers for my computer during a very nice sale on them but I have a couple of small complaints with them (not too big of a deal considering the price I got them at!) and I found this website while looking for a way to correct it or for new speakers altogether. I don't believe I will purchase new ones considering how exceedingly minor my issues are, however.

A year ago I get a Plasma television for the bedroom. It was a Panasonic G25 50 inch. I also got a PS3 for gaming and bluray for it as well. I was given a Panamax M4300-PM for my main TV room. Don't know if that counts.

Onkyo TX-NR5007: Close out model without 3D HDMI processing; great price for a older, top of line product without the features that I do not care to pay extra for.

Elemental Designs EQ.2: Already using PreSonus parametric eq for recording with other room response measuring equipment, so a simple, manual unit is a good compromise between versatility and price.

Klipsch Reference bookshelves to match the already existing 7 satellite booshelve speakers.

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi THX Titanium HD card: Chosen for the compander algorithm "Crystalizer" and also quality internal parts.

Yes, quite a few actually. A/V equipment tends to have a high turnover rate with me. For my bedroom - LG 42LD450, Marantz NR1402, Mirage OMD-5 speakers, Energy V-Mini speakers, Panasonic BDT210. For my living room - Denon AVR-991, Marantz SR6005, NHT Absolute Towers... and probably a few others. I'll sell a couple of these items after deciding what I ultimately want to keep.

I pick the brand/products I do for various reasons - positive reviews, price, my experiences with the brand, visual appeal...

It was just over a year ago and it was a new Denon 4810 receiver but it was a brick and mortar store that had it deep discounted. Price won out. I was waiting for the Denon 4311 or the Yamaha Adventege A3000 but the 4810 was less $$$.

Just ordered a Dayton Audio SUB-800 8" 80 Watt Powered Subwoofer for my sons A/V setup from PE. I purchased the sub because of the great price and solid reviews and excellent customer service provided by PE.

According to the review the Aperions would be a great addition to my sons audio setup.

2010 was really my "splurge year". I got a projector and screen to complete my HT. In 2011 though, I did get an Xbox 360 and it resides in my HT. Got it mostly for Kinect feature. Family loves it! Other than that I got about 50 BR movies and some posters to jazz up the HT.
