Lol, I really am impulsive as hell, but I love the fact that I can get quality answers from this forum. I have never used these forums before but they are great! Just an update, you guys are going to laugh at this, I canceled the order for the denon and I think I am going to upgrade to the pioneer elite SC-07. Because I found it for 1050$ ( i think it may be a steal because its normally a 2200$ reciever) and it appears to be a much better amp because of the class-D amplifier. This system keeps climbing in price but hopefully it will be worth it. I am now looking at some other amps too that will allow Biamping for the from two speakers but if you guys don't think that is necessary then I will stick with the Pioneer. I can't wait to get my system. My tv has already shipped. I got the new samsung 52" 1080P 240hrz LCD. Because I think i will burn in a plasma and I heard they have some problems with blu-ray. I got a denon 3800 blu-ray player for 900$ with a 2yr full warranty. It was a refurb but i figured its covered so what the hell.
Just FYI, Gene, the president of Audioholics, is NOT extremely impressed with some class-D amps.
I **think** he said one class-D amp boasted a 500-watts per channel status, but could only produce about **50** watts of Continuous Power 20Hz-20kHz - or something similar.
So do some more research before you buy.
I'm not saying class-D amps are bad, but compare some more before you actually buy.
Another forum member is selling his class-D amps and buying five Emotiva amps (XPA-1).
