In 1987 when I was in the Army stationed in Germany I bought an NAD 1155 Pre Amp, and an NAD 2200 Power Amp. Both were very clean in design. The 2200 was a beast of an amp, rated at 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, I forget 4 ohms, but a whopping 600 watts per channel into 2 ohms, both channels driven

Those measurments were for 200 ms. where as most testing was done for only 20 ms. At the time NAD was in a price and power war with Proton. The amp featured a soft clip circuit switch, and could be bridged into mono. I still have those two components in a closet.
I like NAD products, I just don't know of a local dealer. Good bang for the buck, with Army discount and no taxes I paid $330.00 for the 2200 Power Amp.
