Crud! Season has just started and I'm down 45 points in the first game. Argh!! Guess it's a good thing there is beer in the fridge... Sigh...

Also disappointed the Bear pulled out the victory over Detroit. Not that I am a Lions fan, I just hate the bears more!

I got lucky with Cutler today....43pts and my running back position was a bust until that Mendenhall 50 yd scamper in OT. Next week Cutler is in Dallas so he'll likely sit on the shelf but prospects for my ground attack are looking good ...

In our league I dropped Garrard for Orton (Figuring Jax would be TERRIBLE), and DG goes out for 3 TDs.

In my other league I benched Wes Welker for week 1 figuring he would be rusty- he of course catches 2 TDs.

From now on, my 7 month old daughter is managing my rosters!!!

The one thing I'm NOT going to do this year is over manage my team.... My first transaction last year was picking up Joe Wahington and starting him off waivers against the Raiders last year(I'm sure you know what happened to him)...and it quickly went downhill from there.....

Who would have thought Jay Cutler would have put up 43 points. He sucks!

I also had the lovely combo of Aaron Rogers (Packers) and the Eagles defense. Kind of counter-intuitive. Oops.

I also counter in the Colts offense and the 49's to do well out of the box. Guess I got that wrong, badly wrong.

I had a horrid first game. Grant out in the 1st Half, Houston running the ball, Carolina had no clue as to their identity Its time for my coaching to step up. Started with a projection of 130pts ended with 64
