Which of these floorstanding speakers around $2000 do you recommend

Some speakers are subjectively more preferred than others. The difference may not be as significant as some people believe. One reason is that most of us compare speakers by memory and from different rooms, setups, placements, time. It may not be a fair comparison. There are a lot of great sounding monitors & towers out there if you have great subs.

I can vouch for Salk/ Philharmonic speakers. But I think most KEF, NHT, Focal, Revel, etc, are great sounding as well.

A lot of people also think B&W, DefTech/ GoldenEar, Klipsch speakers sound great.

So many great sounding speakers out there. Just as long as you have the great subs.

Different Gorilla, that's not me.I am in Rockhampton in Central Queensland. The only shop here sells PSB and Boston Acoustics. I am liking the idea of the svs ultras, my main concern is that someone said that because of the 8inch woofers in the towers hat it will clash with my sub and won't sound good. What are peoples opinions on this? Will this be a problem?

PSB makes a nice speaker, if you can demo, give them a try..

Well I am actually from New Zealand, just moved over here 6 months ago, will eventually be moving to Brisbane in about 10 months but I'm not waiting that long lol

I am the OG Big Gorilla, this other one is an impostor
The PSB Image T6 is in my price range. The only problem is the store is so tiny and none of the speakers are even hooked up and the people there seemed more clueless than me(which says a lot). I'll go and talk to them though and see if they can set them up for me to have a listen.

Did you try this site? Maybe there's another dealer a little further out but better equipped to serve you better.
