Where did the caveman go?

I've talked to my wife at length about this; and also mentioned the last several posts.
She said if this was a forum with women, one, or all would've called or written to check on him.
I just don't know, I'm really torn... my wife has the gift of gab, and could start a conversation with a fence post.
I guess I'm just afraid to get bad news.

Why would they? Certainly noone on this forum has my address or phone, nor do I have theirs. That seems like how it should be, after all, the forum is anonymous.
 
This thread was created on 05-20-2008, 04:35 PM. Strats last activity was on 05-26-2008 10:06 PM. I remember seeing him under currently active users that day at that time in the Steam Vent. This thread was still on the first page of topics. He would have had to see it?:confused: I was surprised the next day to see that he did not not reply to this thread. Did he reply to any other threads that night?
 
It is my sincere wish the Stratman is okay. I've had a few PM's with him and know him by first (real) name only, so that won't help find him. (Perhaps admin tools can?) He is a dear person and I miss his humor and solid contributions here. I left him a PM some time ago and he has not replied, so there is room for worry.

Once, in the distant past, he mentioned that some of the crap that goes on here bugged him mightily, as it does most of us on occasion, and he considered a 'vacation' from the site. But things have been pretty smooth and laid back recently. I think the good people here brought him back then. I can only hope that it happens again.

You see Joe (or whatever your real name is). Some of us create real friendships on here. I spend more time on here with you guys then my "real" friends. I have met forum members in person. I have had them at my house, and have been to their's also. This is not just a "Anonymous" place. :rolleyes:

BTW, I DID know Sman's last name at one time, but I'm way-old and forgetful, and the need to delete PM's constantly has erased my recollection of it. Otherwise I'd look him up and give him a tongue lashing for ignoring us.

Speaking of PM's, thanks to admin for recently increasing the bandwidth there.

As a matter of fact, just this last weekend; had Markw and his lovely wife over. We have likewise, been to Mark's home.
 
I've met quite a few people because of this forum. Even had a chance to make some nice friends out in Oregon. And after this coming weekend I'll have even more members over at my home.

Stratman (Manny) was supposed to be coming to my house this coming weekend. Like Tomorrow said, I probably did have his phone number at one time in a PM, but those things get deleted so quickly. And my PM box is huge compared to most. I've sent him e-mails that have not been returned.

I've tried to do some web searches for him in Dade County. Public records and such. No success. :(

Does anybody know of any of Stratman's other usernames for other forums?
 
If somone out there knows his official first and last name they can look up the Florida obituary database privately and let us know if anything comes up without disclosing any private information. I hope all is well with him and his family.

But, some become friends over time beyond the forum:D
So, it would not be unheard of to have this.
Besides, how about that group in Florida? I am sure they are not in masks when they meet:D

Are you sure? This is the last time I went to Majorloser's house for a Florida GTG. :eek:
