Can the Roku play 5.1 DD+ or subtitles?
I don't use either one, but Roku claims that they will support 5.1 through HDMI.

I've been running Netflix silently on nearly random movies for the past few days whenever I'm home, just to see if I can get the Roku to stall. Not one stall yet. Funny revelation - the Sony stalled so often on Crackle I didn't even know Crackle inserted commercials into the movies until I tried it with the Roku. :)

And by several, you mean two? :D I wish that my 2009 Panasonics could stream Netflix, but no dice.
Yes on the high end model. Sub is also an option(not on the Sony BD player Though) on most Netflix movies on Roku. It might on Panasonic though. DD+ not sure.

**Cough**Cough** "Several" years ago :D , I tried the higher end Roku model. I couldn't even get 5.1 DD. All I could get on Netflix was 2.0 stereo.

But bottom line, the streaming is awesome on my Panasonic BD110 player (paid $120). You get 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus audio, 1080p video, and subtitles in most HD movies.

Of course, I tolerate nothing less than awesomeness. :D

Oh, and I can also control my Panasonic BD player on **Several** of my tablets and EVO 4G phone via Android app. :D

Does Roku have an Android app for phones and tablets?
