Where did you buy that c.d from, was it right from Telarcs website www.telarc.com. I was thinking of ordering some c.d's from their site. Do you have any recommendations.
I ordered strait from Telarc, but it is possible (depending on the title) to find it elsewhere such as Amazon. However, i didn't see much of a price difference either way. I think the CD's I ordered were actually cheaper going strait from Telarc, but it depends on the title. Prices change all the time on Amazon. The service was good..fast delivery...got the package in 3 days and it was packaged very well. I will definitely order from them again. As for recommendations, i ordered 2 classical jazz CD's. I hate to make a recomendation since we all have different tastes in music. If you are interested in jazz music, I would start by looking at their "Discovering Jazz" series of CD's. There are well over 100 CD's in the collection. There are many different styles in the series, but the website makes it easy to listen before you buy. When I ordered mine, I was looking for a couple classical jazz CD's that would work well as background music...very relaxing. However, they are recorded very well, so they work well for critical listening as well. :D

I noticed with the SuperBass c.d you recommended in another thread it was cheaper from Telarc vs Amazon. Right now I am thinking of ordering SuperBass, The Planets, Symphony Fantastique, Beethoven Symphony No. 9. I would like to fill my order with a bit more jazz though, which I am still working on.

Yes, I do believe it was cheaper going through Telcarc when I ordered, but it wasn't by a whole lot. All of your choices sound like good ones. Theres a number of others you may like. You may want to also check out Chesky Records. :)

The Sony SCD-CE595 SACD player in my sig is quite well suited for disc playback. I think that if I had some chump change laying around, I'd get the 7555.

But...the CE595 is really pretty good. The ES is obviously better though.

Obviously better how? Build quality maybe, SQ, not likely much if any difference there.
