I ordered strait from Telarc, but it is possible (depending on the title) to find it elsewhere such as Amazon. However, i didn't see much of a price difference either way. I think the CD's I ordered were actually cheaper going strait from Telarc, but it depends on the title. Prices change all the time on Amazon. The service was good..fast delivery...got the package in 3 days and it was packaged very well. I will definitely order from them again. As for recommendations, i ordered 2 classical jazz CD's. I hate to make a recomendation since we all have different tastes in music. If you are interested in jazz music, I would start by looking at their "Discovering Jazz" series of CD's. There are well over 100 CD's in the collection. There are many different styles in the series, but the website makes it easy to listen before you buy. When I ordered mine, I was looking for a couple classical jazz CD's that would work well as background music...very relaxing. However, they are recorded very well, so they work well for critical listening as well.
