7.1 energy take(3 LCR and 4 SAT).

i will also be using a svs 25-31pc+ sub.

or would it be better to scrap the svs and just order the canton movie 22-X ll

An all Gallo set-up - great looks and even greater sound.

Have you auditioned any of these set ups? I like your sub choice and think that any of the speakers would serve you well. What receiver are you using to drive them? I've heard great things about the Energy Take series as well as the Axiom products. I've heard the Omnisats, but I wouldn't like them with music. Good luck. :)

Its pretty hard to say what would be better since there are so many variables, but your short list seems pretty sound and if you have the opportunity to audition between now and next winter you should do so. Because as you read throughout the AH forums it really is about what sounds good to you.

I have not heard the Gallos or OmniSats, so no opinion, I've heard Axiom speakers before and have been very impressed but I've not heard the m22ti, although the AH staff has them as part of the recommended $5k setup. I have the Energy Take series in a 6.1 set up - 3 LCRs and 3 SATs and coupled with a Velodyne sub and I am very happy with this setup. I listen to more music than movies in a room that is more lively than dead and the WAF factor is positive - which may or maynot be an issue for you.

Mirage is coming out with new Omnisats

I am thinking of replacing my front firing rear channels with these to get a wider sweet spot
