Recently I posted that I watched a preview of a Epix series 70s Bridge and Tunnel. Ed Burns written show that featured Ambrosia hit That's how I feel. Well I found the album! This record is so good. Featuring some Jazz type songs on it. I was hoping I'd find more, but I'll be patient. It's mint too. A+ WHOA. These guys were so talented.

Mellencamp on Cassette.
Can someone edit the title to include cassettes?
Scarecrow is the eighth studio album by John Mellencamp. Released in August 1985, it peaked at #2 on the U.S. chart behind the first Miami Vice soundtrack. The remastered version was released May 24, 2005 on Mercury/Island/UMe and includes one bonus track.

Did a small haul last week and found this cassette in an actual record store. Had this on Vinyl. Hopefully one day I'll get it on record again. Seems to be in great condition so far. ✌

This album contained three Top 10 hits, a record for a Mellencamp album: "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.," which peaked at #2 in the U.S.; "Lonely Ol' Night," which peaked at #6; and "Small Town," which also peaked at #6. "Lonely Ol' Night" also peaked at #1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, his second chart-topping single on this chart.
Mellencamp said: "With Scarecrow, I was finally starting to find my feet as a songwriter. Finally, for the first time, I realized what I thought I wanted to say in song. ...I wanted it to be more akin to Tennessee Williams, John Steinbeck, Faulkner, as opposed to The Rolling Stones or Bob Dylan."

Found this same day as the Mellencamp Casette. I think I owned this on CD back in the day. Cool to own it on Cassette since it's hard to get these days. Played well with no problems. A- condition.

Bought some more LP's at the local used record store, trying a new method of sharing instead of taking a pic of each album:

Rick Springfield.

Living in Oz is the seventh studio album released by rock musician Rick Springfield by RCA Records in 1983. The album was quickly certified Platinum in America.
IMG_27062021_145215_(1448_x_2300_pixel).jpg

In 1984, Springfield was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for the "Affair of the Heart" single, which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and #10 on the Cash Box Top 100.

The album's title is an allusion to living in Australia (Oz = Australia).

I've seen RS in concert a couple times and it's always a great show. I didn't get to see this tour in person, but saw the VHS which I rented. It's a great show and features basically all the songs here. It's by far my favorite by him. Great to get it in great B+ condition Thrifted for $4.
