Yesterday's very interesting vinyl selection. Alan Lomax, that pure genius had the smarts to record old folk songs that would have died away with time but have been captured for future. Brilliant!!!

Well this happened yesterday. I was trying to put back the ground from the turntable that came out, so as I was pulling the receiver out it hit the side glass. No injuries, but I was shocked.

I joined the dark side back in 2015. After selling my Thorens and my LPs back in the late 90s I purchased a used REGA Planar 3 in 2015. Spent a few years picking up LPs at used record stores so I now have 100+. Still I mostly listen to me streamer now.

Playing Badfinger's "Say No More" which is a really good post-Badfinger Badfinger album. It is just Molland and Evans from the band. They made one more, "Airwaves", as Badfinger. That one is ok, but Say No More is very good. "Wish You Were Here" (titled before Pink Floyd's WYWH) on Warner Brothers is arguably their best LP.
