Kimber Kable make some really good stuff. I use it in my systems, for interconnects and for speaker's cables. And I have no complaint whatsoever.
I am totally satisfied with the great sound they let pass through.
Highly recommended.

In that article he mentions Landscaping wire.

"Here's some typical low cost wire that's available today. The wire at the left with the heavy insulation is 12-gauge low voltage cable that's used for garden lighting accessories. It's 1/2" wide and cost 28 cents/foot."

I purchased 100' of this stuff for $40 at Home Depot. Best part is its made in the USA. Its stranded and made of copper, that's all I need to worry about, right? It is returnable since its pre-packaged not cut to order, but I doubt I will need to. Thanks for any info. The HD assistant told me I needed to buy specific speaker wire since its twisted and that is the best for vocals. HAH!
I use the exact same wire...........

I was planning on using it but I just noticed monoprice has 100' of 12 gauge for only $23. I wonder if its made in the USA?
That's a great price for 12 gauge of 100 feet speaker's wire.
Who cares where it's made? Just buy a few rolls of them, and be happy. :)

I'm not trying to get into a political argument but that line of thinking is why this country is in the mess it is. I prefer to buy USA made and don't mind paying a little more for it. I don't like spending $600 on speakers and $400 on a receiver to see they are made in China and Malaysia but what are ya gonna do.

Mmm... I didn't mean to put this country in a bigger mess than it already is.

I just emitted my simple opinion, with respect to all countries in the world, that's all.
