The Sound Appeal
The crossover is on the terminal cup - they soldered the woofer input wire
that goes through the inside metal post/clip, to the lead wire of the electro
tweeter cap - they did not trim it, so the end of the soldered wire was then
touching the body of the metal cap. The other end of that electro cap connects
to one end of the coil that is also in line to the tweeter. The speaker is 12 db
octave high-pass filtered to the one eye tweeter.
The woofer runs full range and was not effected by the short - the woofer is
a good one. I am glad that I was able to keep this explanation short for you.
