I just bought two LP's on Discogs this morning before work. Both cheap. I try to only buy from 1000+ fb sellers and nothing less than VG+

To be honest I have not bought an LP in many years. For one thing my LP shelves are pretty much full up. I have bought a few LPs over the years from eBay, but in the main the previous owners have not looked after with care I have. Most of my LPs were bought new by me in the pre CD era.

Come to that, I have not bought many CDs in the last years. I have downloaded a few to the DAW, but honestly streaming in my view has largely obviated the need for physical purchases. The BPO has all concerts in high Res audio and 4K picture, and all permanently archived.

Anyhow you have made some recent purchases and if you want to give them a spin here you are welcome. I know you enjoyed hearing the LPs you brought last time on this rig here.

That's always very enjoyable. Thx! I have to think about what to bring next.
I got the nine LP Beatles Anthology 1,2&3 today in the mail. Better than the guy described! One and three are unplayed. Not a mark, not a spindle trail to be found on the twelve sides. Nunber two, not a mark except approx one spindle trail on each of the three lp's.

If you don't have Bolin's LP 'Teaser', you can listen to some snippets on Wiki and while you're there, check out who played on that one.

I do have Teaser! I needed to add Private Eyes. I remember when he died in about 1977. .... just googled. It was '76. But I remember that well. My dirt bike friend Blake had Teaser and his older brother played Bowie's Ziggy Stardust all the time.

I have a very hard to acquire LP coming tomorrow or Wednesday from Japan. I say hard to acquire instead of hard to find, because you can find it. There are two copies on ebay for $400 and $425 right now so you can find it if you want to pay that much. I held out until I found one more in my ballpark. I paid $99 plus another $30 for shipping from a Discogs seller. It was never released on LP in the United States, Europe only I think. She is the former lead singer of the country rock or cowboy punk band Lone Justice. This is a very soulful album. Supposedly in M- from a seller with a good fb profile. It's a lot to pay on a hope! But it's doubtful I'd see that price again. For a while anyway. It's Maria McKee's "You Gotta Sin to Get Saved".
