Yes undoubtedly my blood runs.....um.......stupid? lol. Actually I was born and raised in Chicago, so I'm a Bears fan.

another important question that i don't think anyone has asked is what budget are you working with? This could have a large impact on determining the type, size, and brand of tv that you consider.

You can't replace the bulb in an LCD.

A plasma will last longer than you will own it (barring something 'catastrophic' like the power supply or circuit board simply dying).

60" will absolutely NOT be too big for a 14 foot viewing distance. My dad has a 60" rear-projection LCD in his house at a viewing distance of 10 feet and it's just right.

I suggest you go with a plasma *unless* you have uncloseable windows in the room.
