Not entirely certain how many years he had with them; sounds about right though.

Doesn't his time with the team go back to the Schaeffer Stadium days?

Been flipping between the NFL and the History Channel The Food That Built America. If you haven't watched this series try it. Great stuff.

We finished all of the Stargates except for 2 movies.

We started Babylon 5. I've read good things about it. But it's not on any of the streaming services we get so I got the Blu-Rays.

The family watches TV during dinner.

After dinner the boys usually go upstairs and I go to the basement and my wife goes to her computer spot.

I got the Stargate SG-1 DVDs and staring them over from the start again.

I've been getting back into anime (Japanese animation) of late on Netflix. My daughter had recommended Delicious in Dungeon and it was a lot of fun. Started off very comedic but the plot improved and became more serious as it progressed.

They revived the old Ranma½ series which I watched over 20 years ago. Very pleasantly surprised by that one. The characters all look the same and they got some of the same voice actors. I watched the English dub with the family but watch the original Japanese on my own as that is my preference. Great piece of nostalgia for old anime fans. It's the same story as the original but all new animation. The basic premise is that two old friends are martial artists. One runs a dojo and has 3 daughters. The other is training his only son, so they decide to betroth him to one of the daughters to keep the dojo in the family. While training in China, the son falls into a cursed spring which turns him into a girl with cold water and reverts him back to a boy with hot water. Classic Japanese comedy that is family friendly if you don't mind the occasional topless Ranma in female form.

Another new release is Dan Da Dan. Netflix describes it as "In a bet to prove whether ghosts or aliens exist, two high schoolers face terrifying paranormal threats, gain superpowers and maybe even fall in love?!" It's a crazy ass anime with frantic pacing and just the kind of story that got me into anime in the first place. You just don't get this kind of story and animation from anywhere but Japan! I love Japanese voice acting but understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, especially having to read subtitles. It's a top pick for many anime fans though. Not for kids!

Ranma½ and Dan Da Dan are both scoring very highly on Netflix globally.
