Generally a look at customer reviews and remarks will help indicate a "good" store from a "bad" store. There are a few places (like bizrate) that have such reviews.
I like Amazon. I've ordered from them a lot and have had great experiences with them making something right if anything goes wrong with an order. So, I trust them based on my experiences.
