I got this from Amazon yesterday. The pod emergence scene was indeed crazy. I made sure my neighbor wasn't home before I fired it up.

When it starts firing at the crowd the bass is insane. It isn't so low, probably mid to uppter 20s, but it just has a lot of oomph behind it. It is soooo clean sounding yet so potent.

Got mine earlier than Friday

I can confirm they did not filter or mess up the sound on the BR. The LFE is still there and still a great test for any subwoofer.
