Hi, i spent almost $800 for boston acoustic speakers (bookshelf, center and sub). What's your opinion on boston acoustic speakers? I did some search on this forum and not to many people have them. Is there a better speaker system that i can get for $800?

If you already bought them, why are you asking other people? Do YOU like them?

So what did you buy? 5.1, 6.1, 7.1? Sub or no sub? Not too many on here own them, but that doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with them. If you like the way they sound, that is probably the most important thing.

You probably could have found a much better deal for a sub. That sub has a very small amplifier, small driver, and the frequeny responce is only 45hz. It seems to sell for around $300 on the net, not worth the price by looking at the specs. But, if you think it sounds really good, it doesn't matter a whole lot. If you find it lacking and feel you didn't get your money's worth, return the system or the parts you don't like and we can try to find something better suited for your needs.:)

I once had some Boston bookshelves that I liked a lot (A60s, I believe.) That was a long time ago, though, and the company has been through many changes since then. I have no idea how their new ones compare.
