I don’t know of you can change your early vote but in Sweden you can do so and at latest on the election date. If you can change your vote I can understand his persistence. :)
Once I sent that mail-in ballot in, I know of no way to change my vote.

That so-called pollster certainly knew that. I think his bosses were paid well by a PAC to make a pitch poorly disguised as a poll. He asked that question because he was paid to do just that.

Maybe they want you to vote again? :D

If you haven't already gotten there, you should soon arrive at my state of mind. Now that I've voted, I don't want to see any more political adds on TV, or have my Inbox stuffed with unwanted fundraising emails from politicians, parties, or PACs.

Some how the GOP in Maryland thinks I might vote for their candidate for the US Senate, former governor Larry Hogan. (FYI, I'm a registered Democrat and never voted for him when he ran for governor.) It used to be funny, but now it's irritating. I've even been telephoned by slick "pollsters" looking to see if I can be persuaded to vote for him. I told the guy on the phone directly that I had already voted, and it didn't include their guy. He didn't let that bother him, as his next question was "Who do I plan to vote for in November?"

Before hanging up, I asked him how much the PAC paid him for this thick-headed effort.
I'm registered as an independent so I'm getting it from both sides. Funny thing I might have considered voting for Nikki Haley if she had won the GOP primary. ANYONE but Trump.

Another republican asshole.
Yes, sadly, I live in WI. Republicans are deranged, for the MOST part. This mayor is certainly not for FREEDOM. It probably was premeditated as the box is brand new......., and looking for publicity. It definitely was staged by a noncaring mayor for the local Republican newspaper.

It would be a completely different story if voting in your country was compulsory. As it is the interested vote and the majority simply can't be bothered.

Glad I voted early so I can tune out the bull and focus on other things. Like hurricane season in Florida. :(

Seriously, I have no life.
From a psychological point of view they should be counted even when the outcome is clear. I for sure understand the economy point of view of not counting them to save money, but they miss the point that elections are vital parts of our democracies so essential “cost of doing business” (to use their terms).

So I’m quite skeptical of the drive of online voting but without a paper trail that is such in vogue in several Western countries.
If it's online, it can be hacked and I don't even think voting machines should be connected to a public network until reporting the totals.

I like going to the poll- sometimes, it's the only way to see some people because our paths don't usually cross.

Next time ask how much do they have. ;) Then tell them they don't have enough in their bank or something.:D

I don't answer my landline anymore, waiting to hear a recording. No id on it.
I just look at my iPhone and caller's number. Only answer ones in my contact list or rarely if I remember a number not worthy for my contact list. Then I check for a message.
The state has yet to call that I am the winner of the jackpot. :D
Why pay for a landline? You can have those calls transferred to your cell phone.

I closed my landline account after seeing that I had paid more than $20, but hadn't used it.

Well, we have a backup in case of cell towers going out in an emergency. Yes, an expensive backup over time and it too might go down eventually. Still on the chopping block.
I don't want it transferred to cell as most don't leave message, so it is a nuisance call.
