Virgin Comeback Now Confirmed
Official website countdown clock points to an E3 coming out party.

The rumored return of Virgin to games is no longer just a rumor. The official site of Virgin Gaming has launched, complete with that favorite of marketing tools, the countdown clock. MCV reports that E3 will host a launch event for the new venture, most likely on June 15 at 4 p.m. PST, when the countdown clock ends. As previously reported, the big event at E3 will likely include an appearance from Virgin head Richard Branson. Other rumors about the company's return to the gaming business include a focus on digital delivery and publishing, avoiding the retail space altogether. It's certainly a growing market, and a company with financial muscle like Virgin could help push it more into the mainstream. We'll have to see if that particular part of the report pans out next month.
