I've only listened to 2 of the 4 sides (double LP). It does have like 3 (maybe 4?) different versions of "Man of Constant Sorrow" on it. To me, the real gem on that album that is worth the price of the entire album is Allison Krauss "Down to the River to Pray". That is just amazing. I can't imagine anyone, ever, doing a better version of that song. Bottom line, it sounds great. For $15 on Amazon, it is a no-brainer. I just wish I had bought it when it was released, didn't know what I was missing!

I completely believe this data. Simple supply and demand, I am paying more for vinyl now than I did in the late 90s and early 00s. On the other hand, the price for CDs has dropped. Especially if you compare used vinyl to used CDs, the prices have flip-flopped since the late 90s. One of my older friends here in town, went to several garage sales / estate sales in the ritzy part of town in the mid-80s and bought several high end TTs and equip for a fraction of what they are worth today. If anyone is near central TX, this might be worth checking out.
