Thanks for the review.

My only comment is that the word "slam" has negative connotations to most of us. Bad speakers have slam, good speakers have depth.

Wait, you JUST read the review now? It came out a long time ago....

Also, Slam and depth are not the same. Slam refers to tactile response, while depth referring to FR.

I did not really read the review, I am afraid to say. I had read reviews from other sites that had already confirmed my own admiration for Velodynes feedback subs.

I guess you young people have different terminology from us old folk. When I was growing up, car stereos had "slam", good home audio had "depth".

I think this goes to show that using such words can create contradictions if we all have different definitions for vague descriptions. I have even seen subwoofers with variable slam\depth controls.

Good point. I usually stick with the technical terms (cept for Warm, Bright, and any other self explaining term). Can get confusing for sure.
