Used Polk LSiW or new HTS-12

I have LSi15s, LSiC, and Bose 301s for surround. I don't have a subwoofer. Was considering trying to find a used LSiW just because it's the same series as the rest of my setup. Not sure how much the LSiW cost new..... I'm guessing $1,000 because it had 2 10" speakers at 400w. Not sure what it's worth today. Any ideas? Thanks.

No need to "match" subs like that. Wattage without more info is not particularly important either. For $1k you can generally do much better than Polk subs in any case.

That sub's response only gets to 30Hz, so you will not likely find it on anyone's list of recommendations. Irrespective of price, if you are looking at $1k, there are even subs that are less than that which will embarrass that sub.

What size is the room is more important to recommend something in your range.
