And a Belated B-Day to you as well... I am seriously lovin life in my 40's, I have never had so much fun... Now as soon as my son turns 18 and I give him the boot, I will be in whore house heaven !!!!

That is great to hear warp. So far, my 40's have been fun for the most part. But trust me, even when your son turns 18 it doesn't end. Just got off of the phone with my very soon to be 20 year-old daughter and once again she needs some money. Sometimes, I feel like 1st National Bank........LOL!!!! There just is no end to it I suppose. In all fairness, my daughter is a good kid. Kind of a whiney-baby at times, but other than that she is a good kid. All I can say is good luck my friend.

Sorry man, my kids are 21 and 22. One moved to Toronto, the other to Edmonton. Both are doing well and neither have asked me for a dime. I'll give them something if I think they need it, but they haven't asked at all.

That is really good to hear Dave. It sounds like you have done a good job teaching them responsibility. Kids these days do not seem to understand the value of a dollar. Many would rather stay in and play video games all day. After all, it is so much easier just asking for a handout than to get out and earn it. Of course, as with anything there are exceptions. I try my best to teach my daughter to be more responsible, but she chooses not to listen. Guess, she will just have to learn the hard way as many of them do.
