Hello again, gurus. Now that I have added a decent sub to my modest system, the next step for me is to start researching speakers that might provide a bit of improvement. I enjoy the PSBs very much--they are accurate and, I think, slightly "warm" in their presentation--I like the PSB sound. However, being by nature restless, I'm ready for a change. Within a budget of 750 or so, I'm looking for a sound that's more dynamic. The B5s are superb, I think, for acoustically-based pop, small group jazz, string ensembles, jazz vocals...in general, quieter production that has some air around it. This is great, because this is what I listen to the majority of the time. However, if I could find a speaker that can present this music superbly, but also kick a little harder for those times when I want to crank some Zep or Mahler and keep within that price constraint, I would be very happy to pass the PSBs on to some lucky soul and make a change. Any suggestions?
