Unmatched front/rear speakers

I feel like I'm not getting the full potential from my rears as they are smaller than what the manufacturer (Paradigm) recommends with my fronts. I own the denon 2907 receiver, Velodyne SPL 1000 sub, Paradigm Studio 60 fronts, Studio 590 center and only ADP-190 REARS (size is more wife friendly). Was wondering if there's some setting I should apply on my receiver to get optimum sound given the mismatch?

Also, what kind of subwofer cable would ya'll recommend?
Cheers!

Subwoofer cables are usually Digital Coaxial Cables----I would get from Monoprice or Blue Jeans Cables.

Make sure the Rear speaker levels matched in dB to the other channels.

Subwoofer cables are nothing more than long analog cables. Digital coaxial is something slightly different (technically identical to a video cable), but they will cover analog use just fine. I second Bluejeans or Monoprice.

Does your receiver allow separate crossovers for each set of speakers? With your rears set to small, there should be no issue at all with this configuration, though adjusting the crossover individually might allow you to get a little more oomph out of them.

Just level match and crossover properly and you are fine. I use in-ceilings for my surrounds and they sound great so your surrounds should be awesome.

Having mismatched rears and fronts is trivial. Not important. If you prefer to have the surrounds louder, just turn them up.

What kind of subwoofer cable. Well, I would recommend one long enough to reach betweent the receiver and the sub. Take care.
